The name Veltilfreds ("Well-Satisfied") describes a state of mind achieved when observing and using objects where form, design, and functionality come together in perfect harmony.

For all our products, we focus on synergy, sustainability, and durability:

• Synergy: We see a deep aesthetic connection between Nordic design principles and the artisanal traditions of the East.

• Sustainability: We prioritize small, family-owned producers and/or workshops run by dedicated artisans, ensuring that each product carries a story and is created through low-impact, traditional production methods

• Durability: Our products are timeless and fit naturally into Nordic homes—whether in use or on display. Today, tomorrow, and for years to come.

The Founders 

• Dina, Master of Science in Japanese garden art, ensures every piece meets the highest standards of aesthetic purity and the concept of space and balance.

• Kristian earned his Master of Business Administration while living in Indonesia, manages the sustainable partnerships with our workshops, ensuring that our "family-to-family" business model remains ethical and durable.

Why Asia? We lost our hearts to the local kilns of Japan and Korea and the textile looms of Indonesia. For years, we returned home with suitcases full of treasures that our friends and family couldn't stop talking about. Today, we've turned that passion into Veltilfreds ApS, importing small-batch, high-quality lifestyle goods that are built to last a lifetime.
